That's Ratschings
No crowds, no rows of giant hotels — just peace, space, and a sense of belonging. Ratschings is small, friendly, and familiar. People know each other here. And if you’ve been before, chances are you’ll be welcomed back by name. That’s what we love about this place: untouched nature, genuine hospitality, and a deep sense of tradition. Though slightly tucked away from Sterzing, Italy’s northernmost Alpine town, the valley offers everything your holiday heart could desire — from breathtaking landscapes to true local warmth.
Welcome to Ratschings – a quiet Alpine gem where nature becomes your playground. In both summer and winter, the South Tyrolean Alps show off their most beautiful side: wild, serene, and full of possibility. Here, you can truly unwind and leave everyday thoughts behind. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventure or peaceful relaxation, you've come to the right place. Our 4-star hotels are located right next to the Ratschings-Jaufen ski and hiking area, offering direct access to alpine trails and snow-covered slopes. And if it’s tranquillity you’re after, our wellness oases with mountain views promise pure rejuvenation.
